You have the desire to create cool stuff and have some background on which you can start building your career with us:
- In-depth knowledge of User-Centered Design and User Experience Design
- Designing digital interfaces makes you feel at home
- You have a meaningful portfolio with case studies and completed work
- You agree with the design principles of Dieter Rams, or even when you disagree, we would like to hear from you why
- Methodological knowledge of Design Thinking, Design Sprints, User Research, and User Testing
- Use of industry-standard tools such as Figma, Adobe CC, ProtoPie and Principle, downloading images from Unsplash, creating shadows and gradients (work is just about these anyway), prototyping or bringing static designs to life
- HTML5 and CSS knowledge is an advantage, also Motion Graphic Skills (e.g. After Effects) are an advantage
- Experience in agile and enthusiasm to join our agile-driven working environment
- We need a hands-on person who is willing to work together with the team of designers, developers, and product owners to create something cool!
- You are driven by making the world a bit less cumbersome
- English on a very good level (German is an advantage - Jawohl! :)
A high level of design maturity is important to us, and so is the quality and effectiveness of the designs we produce. That is why we have the following in our design team:
- User research - our design decisions are based on a deep understanding of the needs and goals of the users. We have a full-user research team in our Hamburg office.
- Design critiques - regular design critiques, where team members provide feedback on each other's work.
- Design guidelines and standards - we have our own guidelines and best practices, which keep consistency across our designs and ensure the designs align with the organization's goals.
- Continuous learning and improvement - mentoring program, regular dev coach meetings, generous budget for education, organize meetups and workshops.
